What an awesome sleeper Miss Maya was when we met for her newborn session last Friday! This tiny little beauty has the most amazing hair and lashes and she was such a dream to photograph! I love how the photos turned out from this session, and hope you enjoy them too! Congratulations to Maya’s parents, and I hope to see her again when she’s a bit older! 🙂

I’m so lucky to do what I love, by capturing life’s fleeting moments when newborns are so little for such a short amount time.

One of the happiest days of my life was the day you were born, Sunday, May 21, 2006. When I dreamed of having a little girl when I was a little girl myself, you far exceed that girl in my dreams.
I was just holding you in my arms the other day, I blinked and you are now 8 years old.
You are growing into such a beautiful and talented young lady.
Right now, on this day, at this moment, you are halfway to 16. You’re in between a newborn and a teenager. What a strange feeling 🙂 Continue to be brave enough to try new things because there is so much this world has to offer you.
I’m enjoying every second of our journey together. And I will love you till the sea jumps over the mountains and the stars fall right out of the sky.
